Sara Milonovich is an award-winning fiddler with over 25 years of professional experience. Among the last generations to learn traditional fiddle music firsthand, from the grange halls and barn dances of the Adirondack mountains to the Irish pubs of NYC, she has since performed professionally throughout the US and worldwide. She has spent years touring and recording with bluegrass, Americana, and Irish bands; playing everywhere from acclaimed concert halls to festivals and square dances, including touring Eastern Europe as a US State Dept. musical ambassador and performing regularly as a featured soloist on a hit Broadway show. While also classically trained, and adept at performing classical violin repertoire as well, Sara's specialty is authentic fiddle music - whether bluegrass, Appalachian stringband, New England, or Celtic styles!
Every musician in the ensemble has spent years performing at the international level on their chosen instrument, with well known and Grammy-winning artists. We work closely with clients to choose the perfect musical selections and instrumentation, and to provide a unique and individual sound tailored to each occasion - giving your event, from elegant to relaxed, a truly personal touch. Consider us the antidote to a world of large, impersonal entertainment companies with multiple bands - we're individuals dedicated to making your special day as unique as you are!
Available ensembles include:
- Solos - violin/fiddle, vocals, guitar, etc.
- Duets - violin & guitar, violin & flute/pipes, flute/pipes & guitar or piano, etc.
- Trios - two violins & guitar, violin, flute/pipes & guitar, violin, mandolin, guitar/piano, etc.
- Other instruments - clarinet, banjo, accordion (among others!) available.
- Larger ensembles available upon request.
